Update 29/10/07

* New pictures added to the gallery.

* The latest Assert full length album 'Bulletin' is SOLD OUT!
There will be no re-press; better luck next time.

* Riotous assembly (U.S.A. version) is also sold out.

* The split is almost finished ; it will be with two other bands and our contribution will be five brand new songs.

* The new album will be at the mastering stage very soon and will have 16 brand new songs.

* We are trying to work out some gigs/shows in Italy and Germany.

* New T shirts have been printed, look at the shop page for new designs.

Update 03/05/07

* We are still slowly mixing the new album 'The unpalatable truth' which has 16 brand new songs and should be finished some time this summer.

* Dates are coming in for our trip to the USA so check back , we should be there early July.

* Birminghams own 'Meltdown' Records will be releasing a 4 way split c.d. with Assert plus 3 other bands . We are recording 5 songs for that throughout May / June.

* Assert play a punk all dayer in Leeds - Josephs well : 28th July and Birmingham Barfly : 30th September (Meltdown records yearly 'festival')

* We have plans to make at least one new video this summer.

* No slot ( so far ) for Rebellion , wasted or whatever the fuck the Blackpool 'punk' festival is called this year !!

* Assert play two one off shows in March; Friday 16th: 1 in 12 club - Bradford (with loads of bands)

and Wednesday 21st March: Camden Underworld ( with Boston legends Gang Green)


*The sixth studio album should be called 'The unpalatable truth' and will feature 16 brand new songs;
mixing starts next month. No release date or label news so far.

* The tour is over! For all those who came out to see us "nice one" if you didn't "soz mate!"

* The new Assert album 'Bulletin' is out now on Hideous eye records along with the brand new Britts Insurrectionists album 'Blood, sweat and spirit'

Update 2/10/05

*Here is the fucking news bitches ; Fuck U.K. hardcore , the middle class ponces and their plastic tough guy hangers on , this is the B.C. not Boston !! Hardcorepunk keep them together !!

*Britt is now a minister in the Universal life church of California so ( in the u.s.a.) can perform wedding ceremonies, funerals and all the shizzle !! ; Reverand Britt in da house mo' phucka !

*Assert will be releasing a series of limited edition c.d. singles in the new year ( all brand new songs) with the new fifth studio album due out in the States around April.

* The October tour is on (including a couple with Madball) and coming together , keep checking back for the dates .

* We are making tentative plans to play in the States next year possibly with our original drummer 'Frantic' Frank on the stool.
